When walking into a designer label store one would expect quality items at a very high price. The same could apply to designer PR but at a much more affordable thanks to social media.
Companies expect good service and results but aren't always able to afford it but with the latest craze of social media it is now attainable. PRP's (public relations practitioners) have far more options, such as twitter, blogging, my space and facebook, when advertising and gaining publicity for clients- The possibilities are endless.
The internet has become a very important source for PRP's as building online reputation is the way for the future. Gone are the days where companies only used print media as a form of advertising, it's all about social media and if you don't get on the band-wagon now then you are surely going to be left behind.
