This topic was given to my Media Studies group for publication called the Cape Town Magazine. As I was thinking of possible articles that could be written on this topic, I thought what am I looking forward to...
1) First and foremost I am looking to summer. Just the thought if those hot summer days and nights spent with loved ones gets me all giddy inside. Bye-bye winter and hello sunshine!
2) Next on my list definitely has to be the end of the year when tech closes. I can just smell the celebrations in the air- Hell, we deserve it!
3) Holiday time… Well I’m not too sure if I’ll have much of a holiday because I need to get back into the working world.
4) I’m really looking forward to going back to industry and giving up my weekend job. I’m even looking forward to doing the ‘dirty work.’ I know we all have to start somewhere. Oh and not forgetting the new challenges and opportunities that come with the job.
5) And last but not least, I’m looking forward to graduation next year. I know it won’t be the last graduation as I would like to continue studying, not necessarily public relations. It is really an achievement and an excellent pat on the back for a job well done.

Most of these things I am looking forward to as well, except no.4. I am soo not looking forward to working in industry. No freedom to do whatever, whenever. But, I guess it is a step we all have to take.
