“Nothing is more dangerous than an idea, when you only have one idea.” (Alain)

What if the one idea that you think is so brilliant falls through? You have no other back up ideas or plans.
As we are trained to be strategic thinkers and planners, we should always more than one idea- Plan A, B and C if needs be. It’s just to cover our backs and plan for the future because things can happen unexpectedly. This is just like forecasting, studying the environment and seeing what trends are making the markets buzz. With a constant changing environment it is important to have more than one idea. Only danger can arise when you only have one idea- why have one idea when you can have more?
