After five months of no clubbing, I decided to go back just to see if I still belonged in the ‘clubbing scene.’ And to my surprise I didn’t. The crowd seems to get younger and younger, as I’m getting older. I didn’t even want to dress up- most girls usually find any excuse to get all dolled-up.
I would rather choose a ‘chill vibe’ at a friends’ place over clubbing any day, it just doesn’t interest me anymore. I had my fair share of crazy party days and terrible hangovers. Normally it would take me a couple of hours to recover but now it takes me 1 or 2 days- must be the old age. I can’t seem to take those late nights either they seem to catch up with me so quickly.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m always keen to have a good time but I definitely out grown clubbing.
