Winter

Winter sends howling winds,

Making it sound like it can sing.

Pouring rain, darkness all around,

Makes me want to sleep sound.

Bitter cold, numb hands and feet,

Feels like winter never is definitely taking a seat.

Snow capped mountains and roaring seas,

How it makes me quiver and flee.
Being under the blankets is the place to be,

Warm and cosy,

Dry and safe,

Winter makes us all want to hibernate.

Flooded roads and heavy rains,

Is there anything to gain in this domain?

Winter comes and goes,

But oh, how it always makes us moan.

Winter is here, it’s here to stay

But when the snow falls I’ll definitely bring out my sleigh.
